Aroid Society of Australia Inc
2025 Summer Member Only Raffle Terms and Conditions
1. The Member only raffle is being conducted by the Aroid Society of Australia Inc (ASA) (IA56997), an incorporated association in Queensland with its physical address at 46 Walkers lane Booval QLD 4304.
2. The total value of prizes is $390.00 AUD. The first prize is Adelonema sp. “corrugatum” valued at $150.00 The second prize is Philodendron BGB valued at $110.00 The third prize is Monstera UNO valued at $100.00 and the fourth prize is the Caladium sp Peru valued $30
3. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
4. Entrants must be a current financial member of the ASA at the time of ticket purchasing through to and until the conclusion of the drawing of the raffle.
5. Raffle tickets are $5 each. A maximum of 1000 tickets are offered for sale.
6. The raffle commences on the 1st of February 2025 at 8:00AM and closes on 13th of February 2025 at 7:30pm
7. Tickets in the raffle are sold by (a) telephone or (b) in person in Queensland by authorised representatives of the ASA.

9. Residents of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania are eligible to purchase tickets, with the ASA to pay for half of the plant concierge and the ticket purchaser to pay for the other half.
10. Due to quarantine restrictions on plants, overseas members are ineligible to purchase tickets as prizes cannot be sent outside of Australia.
11. Any person directly engaged in drawing the raffle is ineligible to purchase tickets.
12. Complete entries must include a name and a telephone number.
13. Entries will be sent by SMS or provided in person to entrants after payment is received.
14. The raffle will be drawn on 13th of February 2025 at 7:30pm at the 2025 Summer SEQ meet up.
15. Winners will be notified by phone within 5 days of the prize draw, and winners’ details will be published on the ASA’s Facebook ,Instagram, website and Society’s newsletter titled “Aroida Australis” .
16. The ASA reserves the right to require each winner to submit their ticket stub as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification and entry considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of ASA.
17. Prizes will be sent to the winner's postal address within 1 month of the prize draw. Once the prize has been posted, the ASA takes no responsibility for any damage or delay or if the prize is lost in transit
